Product Director
Cathy Huang works as the Applause Product Director, focusing on driving product strategy and innovation. She specializes in the fields of automation strategy, artificial intelligence, and functional quality assurance testing.
Cathy graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a degree in Management Science. Prior to Applause, Cathy worked at Verb as Director of Product for their leadership development platform. She also held a position at Amherst Holdings as Senior Project Manager focusing on projects related to real estate and finance. With over a decade of experience in various roles at software companies, she is a champion of the voice of the customer and is constantly looking for new ways to improve the customer experience with behavioral science.
Cathy also shares her product management expertise as a writer and content creator. She has been a featured guest on the SoftwareTestPro Podcast, STP Radio. In addition to creating thoughtful content around product management and digital quality for Applause, Cathy’s work has been included in publications such as the SD Times. In her free time, Cathy loves spending time with her border collies.
