Inc. Magazine Names Applause One of the Nation’s Top Places to Work

Applause is once again proving that its corporate culture transcends the walls of its global offices. More than a year after moving to a fully remote workforce model in the wake of COVID-19, Applause has been named one of the nation’s top places to work by Inc. Magazine.

Applause was also honored on Inc. Magazine’s 2020 list of top workplaces, Built In’s national list and received similar recognition on a local level from the Boston Globe and Boston Business Journal, as well as in Germany from employee-rating site Kununu.

In particular, team members at Applause emphasized the company’s ability to offer professional development and growth opportunities. The executive leadership’s transparent and ongoing communication was also highlighted as a major positive factor.

Here’s what one anonymous employee had to say as part of the Inc. Magazine Best Places to Work survey:

“I am consistently impressed by the thought leadership communicated through company meetings and with the professional development opportunities offered to our team. The number one reason that I go out of my way to recommend Applause to others though, is the incredible group of mentors that have been assembled at the top of this company. Each of them is a real human who is devoted personally and professionally to the employees they support...The thing that makes it truly remarkable is that every person in this intricately woven web of human capital has the opportunity to learn, grow and become wildly successful.”

Part of what sets Applause apart from other companies is its willingness to get involved and go the extra mile for its community, employees and clients. That’s a big part of the reason Applause is consistently named one of the best places to work both in the United States and beyond. This commitment to excellence and collaboration also helped Applause win bronze in the 2021 American Business Awards in the Company of the Year category.

Judges in the 2021 American Business Awards noted that Applause is not only focused on technology innovation and the growth of the company, but is also committed to supporting clients and end users alike, as evidenced by Applause’s work with nonprofits and healthcare providers like the PathCheck Foundation, Dignity Health and Banner Health.

“Besides providing an enterprise-grade SaaS testing infrastructure and a wide range of digital testing solutions, Applause made a positive social impact during the Covid-19 pandemic by lending its software to multiple healthcare organizations allowing them to accelerate the deployment of time-critical contact tracing, chatbots and telehealth platforms,” said one American Business Awards judge.
