Applause Recognized for Commitment to Community

The award comes as a result of Applause’s active participation in United Way charity initiatives throughout 2017. Applause participates in a number of charitable activities.

Throughout the year, our team spends a few hours during the week serving food at the Pearl Street Café. We also buy backpacks and fill them with school supplies every year as part of United Way’s annual backpack drive for underprivileged students in the Tri-County. During the holiday season, Applause Nation teams up with United Way for a Thanksgiving food drive and the Hope for the Holidays gift drive, where we were proud to raise more than $8500 to supply 85 children with presents.

Whether it’s donating time, money, or resources, Applause Nation is always willing to lend a helping hand and reach out to make a difference in someone’s life – in whatever way possible. This award is really a testament to the work of the Applause team and how much they care about their community.
