Applause Named a Top Place to Work by The Boston Globe

The Boston Globe released its annual list of the top places to work in Massachusetts and Applause is a winning brand. The list can be found both online now and in print stands starting Sunday.

We take our culture seriously at Applause. Our environment is built on a foundation of five PRIDE principles.

  • Passionate and focused
  • Respectful communication
  • In it together
  • Deliver Applause
  • Embrace change

Every team member at Applause represents these traits, and it’s one of the many reasons Applause is a great place to work. Another reason is we like to have fun all year round, from our Kentucky Derby party to this year’s 10 year anniversary celebration to sponsoring an engineering Oktoberfest. We also have an annual tradition around Halloween where employees’ kids come into the office to trick-or-treat and see all of Applause decorated and in costume.

Not only do we like to have fun inside our Framingham office, we like helping the people outside it. That’s why we volunteer at the local Pearl Street Cafe and Cupboard and do annual initiatives with United Way like Hope for the Holidays, a back-to-school supplies drive, and a Thanksgiving food drive. Our team even received the United Way Good Neighbor Award for dedication to community.

Now in its eleventh issue, the Top Places to Work program recognizes the most admired workplaces in the state. Applause was chosen as a top place to work by the people who know it best – its employees. Employees were surveyed through a third party and asked their opinions about Applause’s company direction, execution, connection, management, work, pay and benefits, and engagement.

More than 300 organizations, with a combined 82,000 employees, were up for the award. Applause was recognized in the medium sized company category.
